Interest - Wants to pursue Diploma in Civil engineer
Games - Cricket (not only hobby, itseems he plays the game very well)

This guy is a class topper and as per my analysis he is proactive in his thinking. I analysed hi half yealry marks (Since he is 9th he didn't have revision test by that time). I was explaing him what all courses are available in civil, and since he studies well he can get scholor ship also. But at present i told him to concentrate on his studies and gave an action plan on how to proceed and plan his study hours.

During this visit i analyzed his 3rd revision test marks, and i was very happy with the way he performed in this test. He told he followed the procedure what i had told him, and i felt happy for it. He got 72.8% and with out english he scored 79%. I told him to now concentrate much on english, where he is thinks it is a bit tough for him. (He told that the british people left India, so now why do we need to study this idiotic subject). I motivated him by telling he can do much better.

Sampath - Counselor: Nivedita

www.bhumichennai.org

To start off, I have not done an in depth background check on the boy. So am unaware of his financial, emotional background. But from what I have talked, I have found out that the boy does not want to pursue his school education after his tenth grade. He'd rather join a polytechnic course.
The boy also has difficulty in subjects like social science, science and english. I have started helping him on english, but haven't got around to the other subjects.

Aim : Wants to do Diploma in electrical and electronics.

His interests are playing chess and riding bikes … he has challenged me to play a game with him ..he s a very gud student and he s the third in his class .. he s not good in science .. I ve asked him to study science for an hour (7 to 8) everyday in the morning ..i ve told him that hard work is very important and asked him to extend his hours of studying by an hour.. his day ends at ten .. I ve asked him to extend it till eleven .. I ve promised him for a ride in my bike if he gets a good score in science .. this was a motivating factor for him and he readily nodded in agreement .. the CC teams objective is to bring his total to 299 on 500 and I am sure he can do it with this methodology ..

As per my promise to Krishna i allowed him to drive my bike and he felt happy for it. During the visit i analysed his second revision marks and made him realize that he can do better and motivated him. I also told him how to proceed in his exams, especially maths which is a scoring one, I told him to follow 5 first steps 1. Given data. 2. To find, 3. Formula used, 4. Solution, 5. Answer. (What bhumians??? we can score more marks by this method.. right??).
